NEED TO STOP A FORECLOSURE? Or Just REDUCE YOUR MORTGAGE TO SOMETHING YOU CAN AFFORD?


 

  1. Can't I negotiate my own mortgage loan modification at no cost?Yes, you can, and HUD offers free borrower counseling services to assist those who would like to try. If you trust your bank to do the financial analysis and then offer you the best terms for which you qualify, you may want to consider doing it yourself.

  2. Do you guarantee a successful loan modification?
    No. Only your lender can do that. However, the Service Fee will be refunded if your lender won't agree to a loan modification.
    What are your fees?

  3. The standard fee is $1,500. That consists of a non-refundable Processing Fee of $500, and a Service Fee of $1,000. If the lender doesn't agree to a loan modification, the $1,000 Service Fee shall be refunded.

  4. If I have two mortgages on my home, will I have to pay $3,000 instead of $1,500 to get them both modified?
    No, but it may be best to negotiate with both mortgage lenders. In that case, a non-refundable Processing Fee of $300 is charged for the additional mortgage. The total fee would then be $1,800 for two mortgages.

  5. Will an attorney, or an assistant or clerk, negotiate my loan modification?
    At this Firm, Lender negotiations will be conducted only by licensed attorneys.

  6. Can I pay by credit card?
    Yes. Checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted.

  7. How do I get started?
    Call to schedule a free initial consultation by phone, video conference (Skype), or at the Law Office. If you are already in default or are facing foreclosure, you should take action as soon as possible.
